A Walk on Second Beach - Part 3

Are you totally water logged yet? Here is one more batch of seascapes taken on Second Beach at Olympic National Park. I hope you enjoy the salt spray and wild Pacific coast of the northern tip of Washington, USA. I promise, no more water shots for awhile!

Beach Log
The aged and surf beaten giant log was a wall between the ocean and the forest. It had once stood at least one hundred feet tall before it fell to time. Now it has become a lovely spot to sit and eat lunch.

Sea Stack
This black and white photograph of a Pacific Northwest sea stack is timeless in its simplicity. It could have been taken 100 years ago or yesterday, the only change the living trees on the rock.

I just spent my two-night annual solitude time at the Oregon coast. We're lucky to be close enough to enjoy day trips, but there is nothing like going to sleep with the sound of the ocean and waking to the sound of seagulls....

Beautiful shots.

However I can not possibly decide between the first and second, I prefer them both. You have a melody of the sea.

The photos give me a longing for summer. It's too soon for that feeling - I've got to get through winter! :)

Walking near the ocean fills me with peace and serenity much like my beloved mountains. I am so glad that I was able to share a small part of that with you. Thank you everyone for your wonderful comments!

Just my viewpoint:

The black white rock one with trees on the rock... Reminds me of Ansel Adams on the beach. One of your best I have seen.

Sea Stack is is just outstanding. I think the black and white makes it for me. I don't think it would have the same impact in color. Very nice!!

Muito legal as fotos. Lugar tranquilo e aconchegante, onde sopra a brisa do mar da imensidão do oceano. Parabens

A fotografia é o momento oportuno da hora, do dia e do encontro entre o fotógrafo eo objetivo da Objetiva. Isso, sem marcarem encontro.
