Dreaming of Spring

A framed photo of old and twisted cottonwoods were wearing the lacy light green of spring and standing over a field of purple wildflowers.
Like a hibernating bear, I am dreaming of spring. Twitching for it. Yearning for it. Waiting for it. But Punxsutawney Phil saw his shadow which means six more weeks of winter. And for the high country of Colorado I know that my wait for green meadows and bursting flowers will not be until June. So wish me luck and happy springtime dreams.

  2. Oh yes, dear Julie - let us dream and revel in images, such as yours. BeadetTail is right, all the pictures are beautiful, but makes the horizon that is dipped into a dream world. A stunning shot. Thanks for that little breath of spring.

Hugs and thank you for sharing

  4. Sigh...I am dreaming of spring as well. Perhaps Punxsutawney Phil was still half asleep when he made his prediction. Let's hope he was wrong.

  7. Oh wow that horizon shot is amazing! In Florida, everything is green year round so we take it for granted....
