How beautiful, Julie. During our frequent visits to the SW we would see all manner of roadsigns warning us to Watch For Elk! Never, ever, ever saw one! Love seeing your images - makes me feel like I was there!
ReplyDeleteThey are such proud , majestic animals. I particularly love the photo by the pond.
ReplyDeleteI've never seen an elk but here in Scotland we sometims see a big lone stag -"monarch of the glen"
What an awesome sighting!
ReplyDeleteI love all your photos but the ones in and around the front range and RMNP are always my favorite and make me miss Colorado. These photos are so gorgeous and I can almost smell the mountain air!
ReplyDeleteI always believe that these beatiful animals are magical... We don't have any of these here in Brazil. I wonder what they're thinking...
