Being from Colorado and over a thousand miles from any ocean, I am always delighted to watch the coastal sea birds. We do have seagulls in Colorado, although we refer to them as terns, and the occasional cormorant ventures to our large lakes too. But watching these birds next to the turbulent roaring Pacific ocean as it crashes and sprays water over jagged rocks is an entirely different experience. I hope that I brought that wonderful day to you with my photography.

As always, I appreciate you sharing your thoughts about editorial, photography, and anything in between in my comments here or on my Facebook Page and Twitter Feed.
Beautiful, Julie! We have cormorants and gulls here in Florida, but no high rocks, precipitous drops and roiling seas! I can smell the salt air, and I'm not at all sure its from the Gulf, today!
