November 2011 Pussy Willow Free Desktop Wallpaper Calendar

soft gray pussy willows on amber branchesAfter the flashy oranges and yellows of October I was ready for a bit of subtly. The soft grays of the pussy willow catkins and its glowing amber branches were perfect for November's cooler weather and softer color; although I shot this photo in the spring in Rocky Mountain National Park. If you like this photograph it is also available as a fine art print. I hope you enjoy the November 2011 free desktop wallpaper calendar!

  1. Julie, this is lovely! The little catkins (is that the right name?) look like they glow, so soft! Wonderful bokeh too!

Your fine art photography is beautiful. The willow catkins look so soft and I have some growing in my garden just like your image.
