It was the perfect day to have lunch where the Russian River returns to the Pacific Ocean. We found a small deli, a sunny deck with chairs, and settled in. I was enchanted with the coastal life style. Californians with dreads gave us big sourdough sandwiches, little children chattered excitedly at their grandparents, and sea kayaks in a crayon box of colors waited for the adventurous. Now don't you want to be there in that warm and inviting California sunshine?
