Colorado Woodland Forest Landscape

A pine forest in the northern Colorado Rocky Mountains takes on a serene glow in the foggy mists.Hush. Do you hear it? The silence that permeates the forest and envelops each branch, twig and creature. Listen. Breath. Sigh at the pleasure that nature grants us every day without asking for any return of favor. Now you hear it. Now you feel it. The beat of your heart, the whisper of a breeze, the rhythm of life.

  1. Gorgeous!, I can smell the scent of the wet bark on the trunks...that mist reminds me of the pines in Manoa Falls...

  3. I'm reminded of the fog we've had lately in central Virginia.

Those beautiful tall, lean trees frame well.

  7. Hi Julie, at last a chance to visit you! ;-)
I love your photo so much because it reminds me of the woods near my home, where I used to live years ago.
There were corridors of pine trees that had carpets of brown needles. I also like the scent and the peacefulness of the pine woods. Truly magical.

Best wishes for Christmas and a Happy New Year!
