A Morning of Pink Tulips

A blushing pink spring tulip catches the soft morning light of dawn.
It was an early spring morning. As I wandered sleepily down the stairs to make the morning coffee my eye caught the sweet pink blush of dawn painting the delicate blooms of a bouquet of tulips on the table. The combination of soft dewy light and natural pink color of the flowers was irresistible to me. Feelings of sweet childhood memories filtered through my mind; soft blankets, pink bunnies, evening clouds, and fragrant blossoms. It was a moment to catch and freeze in time. I hope you enjoy it.

    1. Thank you Karen. I often like to shoot flowers in the morning light. It really does seem to give them a soft glow.

  6. Both are just as you described: pleasant memories of all things pink. I still live it because my youngest daughter is still in a "pink phase." Not much longer though, as purple is her new favorite. :)

I couldn't pick a favorite. I'd choose light 3 if I needed more of the splash of yellow in my room; otherwise, I'd choose light 1 which has a deeper pink in the petals.

    1. It seems that all little girls go through the pink phase. Remember "My Little Pony!" LOL Thanks for your comment. Glad you like the tulips!
