Orange Tulip Pops - Flower Photography

Two newly opened orange tulips look like lollipops on a sage green distressed background.

As I looked at these two orange tulips just opening they looked more and more like giant lollipops. I'm not sure if my sweet tooth was flavoring my vision or if I just see things differently. Tell me what you see.

  1. Julie... I love your interpretation from the stem upward rather than full face of the tulip. I agree... lovely lollipops! If you turn the photo upside down... they look a bit like pumpkins on the vine. Guess I am having an "upside down" day!

    2. Yes Julie, I can taste that orange Tootie Pop right now!

Susan, of course, I had to turn my laptop upside down to see if I saw pumpkins... and I did!

    3. Haha!! I'm happy we are having fun with the tulips. I really wanted something different. Sometimes you have to stand on your head!
