Nature is my inspiration. Do you remember when you were a child and every little flower and bug in your backyard fascinated you? It is still that way with me when I allow it. That is when I pull out my camera and recapture the natural world of my childhood. My recent photos have sparked a debate in my family as to which one is the "best" or a personal favorite. Tell me which one you prefer.

The snow in the first one looks like sugar...and the 'blue' ones remind me of the ocean blue in HI.
ReplyDeleteBrrrr looks cold! Love the Mahogany one!
ReplyDeleteI'm partial to the last photograph - the granite and mullein. The kaleidoscope of colors in the granite really talk to me, and that lone golden twig makes a stark statement. Snow is literally icing on the cake. It's hard choosing favorites.
ReplyDeleteIt is always a magic in nature and you have the gift to make it visible!
ReplyDeleteI have to choose all three, is impossible to decide.
Hugs
They're all just beautiful! I can see you're enjoying winter as much as I am. :) If I have to choose a favorite, I'd say it's Mahogany Winter. I love the colors and depth.
ReplyDeleteI love them all! But the Winter Blues is my favorite!
ReplyDeleteI agree with Karen, but I do love them all, Julie!
ReplyDeleteThey are all lovely, Julie. I vote for Winter Blues this time around.
ReplyDeleteLovely photos Julie. I think the first is my favourite, Mahogany Winter.
ReplyDeleteFrozen Granite does it for me :-)
ReplyDeleteLOVE IT! (as always!) :)
ReplyDeleteSuch lovely photos Julie! I really like the Mahogany Winter one!
ReplyDeleteYou manage to capture the most delicate details and compose such beautiful imagery, Julie.
ReplyDeleteAbsolutely stunning!
Mahogany is my fave but the bokeh in the second is nice, nice, nice.
ReplyDeleteTough one, but I think I am probably leaning toward Mahogany Winter b/c it capture the essence of that particular "kind" of snow so well, and I love the color contrast.
ReplyDeleteAnd I LOVE what you said about being fascinated with nature, as a small child is. I couldn't agree more-- I REVEL in it! I think our inner child knows things we should still listen to. :)
I'm picking Mahogany Winter. Love the simplicity, and as always, you've got the touch :)
ReplyDeleteMy opinion...Mahagony Winter is the best of all!
