  1. Julie, thanks a bunch for awarding me with this title. I'm so jealous of your solar powered home. I can only afford to recommend it to people but not actually installing it. Not enough south facing roof on my little house.

  2. so nice to learn more about you!
a mountain lion eh? i guess a restraining order wouldn't work! yikes, how scary!! :p

  3. Those are some interesting facts! Thanks for stopping by and visiting my blog :)

  4. Always interesting to find out some facts about someone!

  5. Such interesting facts! Being stalked by a mountain lion sounds pretty scary to me but I hope you got pictures of it!

  6. Julie - what? Did you get married when you were 8 or something?

  7. Thanks everyone! Diana is absolutely right! Child bride. LOL

Regarding the mountain lion; she was following my husband and I down the steep hillside below our home. We had no idea. Lions are stealthy. Ric got a "feeling" and turned around. She was about 15 feet behind us. The around 90 pound young female didn't appreciate being discovered. She crouched, hissed, and without one sound she leaped through the air away from us. We just stood there with our mouths agape!

  8. Thanks Julie for the award! I am honored.

I was just telling Mitchell a few days ago how afraid I was of Grizzlies and that it was probably a rare threat to be stalked by a cat! What a trip, I would have been shaking after such an event!

Your photos on Sundays post are amazing!

  9. Julie, thank you so much for the award!! What a fun one to be honored by--can't wait to share it! Loved learning a little bit about you-- you live a very interesting life!

  10. Julie - Very nice to learn more about you!
