The Element of Water

The siren of the sea calls to me a least once a year and I hear her all the way to Colorado. If I can not follow her call to the ocean then I find her in a wild river cascading and tumbling down a rocky mountainside. Her music fills my parched soul that our too fast, too complicated world in turn sucks dry. Nature is my friend and water, you might say, is in my inner circle. Feel the spray, scent the perfumed air, and let your imagination take you to the home of the siren of the sea.

  1. 2nd and 5th are my favorite ones. The second gives a feeling of making me feel like I am in the water itself. Like I am floating in the middle of the water. The running water 5th one gives a similar feeling like being in the water. The picture is very crisp looking.

    Great pictures as always.

  3. I can almost hear that rushing water of the St. Vrain. You're photos not only capture a visual scene but they evoke memories and so much more!

  4. Rushing Water photo...is my fave. I love the sea but for some reason am more drawn to creeks, rivers or lakes.
