Moonrise at Twilight

The city lights twinkle like stars spread out on the high plains of Colorado. Since my first look at this astonishing view the tiny lights have extended like a slow spreading spill of jewels. Tonight the moon adds brilliance to the vista from my high eyrie. As Luna slowly dances and sways seductively up her high path in the clouds the rest of the world pauses to appreciate her beauty.

  6. Toss up today between the first and second pics. I love seeing city lights from a plane or from the top of the Empire State Building or some other tall building.
    The blue moon is striking!
All three pics show how awesome our planet is.

  9. Thank you! I do have fun shooting the city lights and sky above Ft. Collins. The shots were all taken from my deck. That is why you see the same landscape silhouette in two of the photos.

  13. Inspiring!
The first image makes me want to whip out the cocktail shakers and kick back with a spicy beverage whilst relaxing in the tranquil sun-kissed surrounding that your image captures so well.
