As always, I appreciate you sharing your thoughts about editorial, photography, and anything in between in my comments here or on my Facebook Page and Twitter Feed.

Rabbits, Bunnies, and Hares Oh My!

This is the Year of the Rabbit. I happened to be born in the Year of the Rabbit way back in the last century. It is interesting to note that I get along well with sheep, pigs, and dogs. And because dogs are my kind of people maybe I should hook up with some pig and sheep buddies too.

Then we have the Easter Bunny, March Hare, and the White Rabbit. The latter two being created by Lewis Carroll in a drug induced state no doubt. No one knows for sure about the Easter Bunny, but he seems to have hopped into the scene in 17th century Germany, a counterpart to the Santa Claus of Christmas.

Colorado Wildflower Blank Note Cards

Wildflower season in the Colorado Rocky Mountains is still far off but these three note cards can bring the season to you early. I have three different photos; a lovely lavender penstemon, a bold blue wild geranium, and Colorado's famous columbine. The set includes two of each flower. I love to use the blank cards for birthdays, anniversaries or get well wishes. They also work well for just dropping a note to a friend. So as I am sitting in my studio on this cold snowy March day, I am really dreaming of wildflowers in purple, lavender and blue.

Anti Valentine Note Card - Lust

Valentine's Day is nearing. For some it is a day to contemplate past relationships. Hopefully those trysts have turned into friendships. Lighten the moment and send that "special" friend a little poke of fun. You know who it is. Go on. You will laugh together at your misstep and put some humor in the day. After all, as Charlie Chaplin said, "A day without laughter is a day wasted."

Valentine's Day is just around the corner. I thought it would be fun to play with a photograph of a pink hydrangea and create a little heart of pink flower petals. This blank note card is perfect for your mom, sister, friend, or your true love. You write the perfect personal note yourself. My wish is that you have many loves in your life. So why not let them know.

Friday Favorites - Pearlescent

I love the iridescent quality of pearls. The light is refracted into blues, lavenders, golds, and pinks complimenting everything you are wearing. Although these products are all very different they remind me of that pearlescent luster in their soft colors and hues. I hope you will visit each one. There are some incredible bargains here!

Friday Favorites - Rocky Mountain Market

There is a new market at 1000 Markets. It is called the Rocky Mountain Market and it has "High-Altitude Artisans" from all over the Rockies.

Products are the kind you might discover at a great farmers market, craft fair or at a quaint little ski-town boutique. There is a wide variety to choose from too! You will find arts and crafts - from pottery to photography, jewelry to papercraft, and everything in between.

Here are a few of my favorite discoveries in this brand new and exciting market. Be sure to visit their shops by clicking on the item name or shop name. Enjoy!
