The night was warm for the first week of March in northern Colorado. The storefronts of the small western town were ablaze with light giving the narrow sidewalks filled with young lovers a festive feeling. The gallery and bistro doors were open, beckoning all to come in and browse or have a micro brew. The serious conversations of the week before were vanquished in the magic of the night and the evening was filled with mirth and good will.

Julie... Great post-- I could feel that lovely energy. I love the things you notice, the way you see and describe (and photograph) things... just your whole attitude. That is why I chose you for a "Lemonade Award." :D See my blog for details.

Thanks! It was a really fun evening and hard to keep my little Canon in my pocket. If I'd had my Nikon I would have totally ignored my friends. LOL

Thanks Jennifer for noticing the new banner!
ReplyDeleteBeautiful .. I felt I was right there with you! Happy Monday :)
ReplyDeleteI love all of these, but especially the way the last one is composed! And how the flare from the unseen streetlight (I think?) kind of colors the tree's branches. Wonderful!
