Sunday Morning Gallery - Mallard Duck Family

The day was sweet and gentle. After driving a steep mountain road to photograph dramatic mountain vistas with dark gray thunderheads we headed home and stopped in Evergreen, Colorado. We had lunch at our favorite spot, The Aspen Grill, and afterwards decided to walk around a small lake and wetland. We found many many birds and wildflowers to admire but the most charming was a mama duck and her little troop of ducklings. I hope you enjoy them as much as we did.
