Sunday Morning Gallery - Autumn's First Kiss

In the Colorado Rockies it has been an unusually wet and cool summer. It almost seems as if we are skipping summer and going from spring right into fall. I should not complain. I am really not a hot weather person. But to see the foliage starting to turn seems just a bit too soon. Having said that, I love autumn in Colorado. The nights turn crisp with clear brilliant starry skies and the days are still warm and sunny. Here are a couple early autumn photographs for your pleasure.

  12. These are amazing. AMAZING. I've never been a fan of fall time (I think it reminds me too much of the going back to school drudgery), so living the last decade in South Florida I haven't missed it much, if at all.

These photos actually have me craving pumpkin pie and leaf jumping. They're inspiring!

  13. Where in Colorado do you live? I live out in Greeley, and we've definitely had summer! Maybe not as hot as last year, but definitely enough sweltering 90-plus-degree days to make me whine about it. Yay, fall!
